1:56 p.m. Injury -
Officers responded to a report of electrocution at the Medical School. The victim was treated by the police department.

2:51 p.m. Fraud -
Suspect took a blank check from the Cherry Street Residence Hall, forged the victim's signature and cashed it. The crime was believed to be committed between May 1 and May 8.

Aug. 16

12:04 a.m. Property Damage -
Parties stuck in an elevator at Oak Place Apartments damaged the door in order to get out.

8:55 p.m. Water Leak -
Officers found a leaking vending machine in the canteen area of Royall Hall.

Aug. 18

2:45 p.m. Illness -
Officers responded to a report of a student passed out in class in Royall Hall. She refused treatment by ambulance personnel.

4:52 p.m. Illness -
Officers responded to a student in Scofield Hall complaining of sever abdominal pain The student refused medical treatment.

11:49 p.m. Disturbance -
Officers responded to the report of a loud party at the 5300 block of Rockhill. The group dispersed upon request.

Aug. 19

9:34 a.m. Fraud -
Officers responded to the report of check fraud at the UMKC Bookstore.

2:36 p.m. Larceny -
Officers responded to the report of missing iPod earphones left unattended in the Administrative Center.

Aug. 20

9:23 p.m. Property Damage -
Officers responded to the report of graffiti painted on a university vehicle parked next to the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at 4747 Troost Ave.

9:23 p.m. Warrant Arrest -
Officers arrested a party with warrants at 48th and Forest streets.

11:23 p.m. Illness -
Officers responded to the report of an ill person at Oak Street Residence Hall. The victim refused medical treatment.

Aug. 21

2:26 a.m. Drug Offence -
Officers responded to the report of an unknown odor at Oak Place Apartments and arrested the apartment resident for marijuana possession.
