"Medievalism High and Low: The Violette in Early 19th Century Musical Drama": This part of the Conservatory musicology lecture series starts at 4 p.m. in Grant Hall, room 330.

Artsounds: Students from UMKC, KCAI and ASU perform with Mara Gibson, Barry Moon and Barry Anderson at 8 p.m. at the Kansas City Art Institute, Epperson Auditorium, 4415 Warwick Blvd.
