Parental Empowerment Workshop: Part 2: Key speakers include Donna Terry of the FEC and Lucy Torres of the Department of Social Services. Kids are welcome at this event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. in room 108 of the Women's Center, Haag Hall.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Singing Bee: Open to everyone, this evening of karaoke is from 7 to 9 p.m. in Oak Street Residence Hall.
Video Game Tournament: All those hours of zoning in to your television can finally pay off! Come participate in the video game tournament from 8 to 11 p.m. in Pierson Auditorium, University Center. Prizes will be awarded.
"The Inside Scoop": Discussion by local, county and state government officials responsible for appointing candidates for board and commissions, to be followed by a networking reception. The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Brookside room of the Administrative Center, $30.

Student Affairs Informational Luncheon: Learn what this program is about and how you can participate. This event is from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in room 117 of the University Center.
Political Night: Delta Sigma Theta hosts a discussion on the importance of African American voting from 7 to 9 p.m. at the African American History and Culture House, 5245 Rockhill Road.
Flu Shot Clinic: Vaccinations are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the School of Dentistry, 650 E. 25th St. Cost for faculty is $18, cash or check. Cost for students is $15, cash, check or student account.
Carolyn Huebl and Mark Wait: Violinist Carolyn Huebl and Pianist Mark Wait perform at 7:30 p.m. in White Hall of the Performing Arts Center, 4949 Cherry St.

Flu Shot Clinic: Vaccinations are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bloch School of Law. Cost for faculty is $18, cash or check. Cost for students is $15, cash, check or student account.
Activity and Program Council Meeting: Come to this meeting to find out what's coming up and to make your own suggestions. Meeting is at 7 p.m. in room 147 of the University Center.
