Spring Dance Concert: Works by Doris Humphrey and James Jordan of KC Ballet in collaboration with James Mobberley, UMKC curators' professor of composition. Tickets $8, $6 for seniors, free for students with a 24-hour advance reservation. Call 235-6222. White Hall, Performing Arts Center, 7:30 p.m.

Sally Ride Science Festival: Festival invites area girls, their parents and educators to participate in a day of science fun. Attendees will meet and listen to astronaut Sally Ride, America's first woman in space. Also featuring local female engineers and scientists, including UMKC professors and students. University Center, 11 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Cost is $18; includes lunch and materials. Registration required: call 800-561-5161.
