Midterm Stress Management: Take a load off! Learn how to de-stress during those pesky midterms and finals and find out how to organize your life. Alumni Room, University Center, 11:45 a.m to 1 p.m.

Peace Tuesdays: Picture Peace, Chicana women have a long tradition of peace activism. Join us for an article from the book "Stop the Next War Now!" by the founders of women's peace organization CODE PINK. Discover how your art can lead to your own activism. Copies of article available in the Women's Center. Feel free to bring your lunch. Women's Center, 105 Haag Hall, noon.

Roo & You BBQ: this welcome-back event sponsored by the UMKC Alumni Association welcomes students, faculty, staff and alumni. Enjoy grilled-on-the-spot meats and sides, and live jazz provided by UMKC Conservatory students. Meet our NCAA Division I coaches and win prizes. Kids activities available. Lifetime Fitness Series: celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with "Being Healthy for a Lifetime."
