Dancers demonstrate hard

The UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance will present three different performances of the annual senior recitals through Sunday afternoon, March 11. All performances will be held in the Performing Arts Center's White Recital Hall, and will be free of charge and open to the public.

I have discovered soft, melodic music is the only thing that seems to get me through busy and stressful mid-semester weeks. With that said, Tom Waits' "Closing Time" is a welcome album. Many are familiar with Waits as the '80s late-night talk-show luminary, or as the gruff-voiced ragamuffin who released several innovative albums mixing countless genres.
