Waiting for three hours in line to fill up and then paying $6 per gallon for gasoline. Sound like a bad dream? But that is what some consumers were faced with this past week because of the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
Last Wednesday, 25,000 body bags were delivered to New Orleans as part of the clean-up effort. Hurricane Katrina is indubitably one of the most monumental disasters in U.S. history, and a tragic loss of human life.
